The models below are listed just to give a brief outline of wheelchairs, a wheelchair should never be purchased without an assessment as there are many wheelchairs available to suit many different needs.   

At just over 8kg with wheels removed, the entry level lightweight aluminium wheelchairs are extremely light in weight.

Ergo 115 Leaflet

The new ‘Ergo' 115 is equipped with Karma's unique S-Ergo shaped seating system, which spreads the load and helps to prevent the occupant sliding down the seat. The S-Ergo seat has been pressure mapped for the optimum shape.  In addition to the seating system the wheelchair benefits from detachable anti-bacterial upholstery treated with Aegis microbe shield. The upholstery is available in; silver, black, red and green to enable the user to customise their wheelchair. The Ergo 115 also has swing away detachable footrest hangers.

The walking walker was developed to provide the user with some support at all times whilst using the product. Traditional walkers rely on the user lifting the walker up and moving it forward or on other models rolling it forward on its front wheels. When used correctly this walker will step or walk with the user providing a unique level of assistance.This walking aid is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is made from lightweight aluminium tubing and folds easily for easy transportation and storage. It features height adjustable legs with rubber tips for comfort and security.

 

The walking frame comes with two comfortable handles to grip when using the walking frame. It also features removable 'E' clips that allow the frame to be rigid or flexable to aid walking.
